Hints, Tips and How-To’s

Microfiber cloths can be used wet or dry

Dry: The static effect created when using the Microfiber Cloths dry enhances ability to attract dirt and dust particles. As you lightly wipe the surface, the microfiber attracts and draws up even the smallest particles of dust, trapping them in the fibers until the cloths are laundered.

Wet: The microfibers work together to give an excellent cleaning effect. Wet, wring and wipe away dirt and debris from all washable surfaces. For spot removing, spray water on the surface being cleaned. Note: Do not use with corrosive chemicals, cleaners or fabric softeners.

How to use the window cloth

On less dirty surfaces, spray water on the surface and polish with the dry window cloth. For extra dirty surfaces, clean the surface with a wet enviro cloth first, then use the window cloth to dry and polish.

Caring for your microfiber products

To save the environment and reduce the use of detergents, we suggest that slightly dirty cloths and mops be washed with a little dish detergent under warm running water and used again before laundering.

  • Use our Rubber Brush to remove dirt and debris from the mops between launderings
  • Launder microfiber cloths with other lint-free laundry
  • Do not use bleach or fabric softener on microfiber. Bleach and fabric softeners destroy the product’s ability to clean effectively
  • Use only detergent without bleach additives to clean our products

Enviro cloth, window cloth, car cloth

  • Fold the cloth in half
  • Fold it again.
(You now have a total of 8 clean sides to work with. For the Window and Car cloth, fold it again and you have 16 sides.)
  • Place your whole hand on the cloth and wipe with even strokes. The cloth should be flat against the cleaning surface.
  • The enviro cloth is used dry for dusting.

Proper mop cleaning technique

Be sure to move the mop in a good-size figure-8 pattern from left to right in front of you, bringing the mop towards you as you back up so that you will be moving the dirt or debris in one direction.

How to use the wet mop for cleaning:

  • Dampen the mop pad with water under faucet.
  • Wring out excess water.
  • Re-attach the mop pad to the Velcro mop base.
  • Proceed to mop and clean your entire floor in a figure-8 pattern, rinsing when the front edge becomes dirty.

For spot cleaning – you can also use the spray bottle to dampen the floor, and then wipe with the mop.

Use the wet mop on:

Hardwood floors, tile, marble, wood, laminate, linoleum.

Note:

  • Always use the dry mop prior to using the wet mop.
  • Yellow mops are “Dry” for cleaning.
  • Blue mops are “Wet” for washing.
